Keary Mattison- New York FROG Fishing Reports

Keary Mattison has been a gourmet collector of my FROGs since I started to sell them. He is about the same age that I was when I started to make them, and he is just as enthusiastic about them as I am. He was one of my first FROGmen. In addition to big bass, he also catches some big pike, and he doesn't let the harsh winters up there stop him from fishing even through the ice. He is off to a great start fishing the FROG for some awsome bass. Check out this Lake Champlain beast he caught fishing along an offshore weedline.

New York FROG Fishing - 7/5/2010 Update

Keary Mattison, our FROGman in New York continues to slam the bigger bass on the FROGs. He just topped his Personal Best Largemouth Bass that he caught on his FROG last year. Last year he caught a 5 lb. 11 oz largemouth, and now he's topped that with a 6.97 lb largemouth. He has also now caught a 5.25 lb smallmouth on the FROGs. Wow ! Who would not like to do that ! He will be sending a photo of the smallmouth soon. If that's not enough, he also landed a 14 lb Pike. Can you just imagine the kind of strike on the FROG that must have been ! New York FROG Fishing - 9/9/09 Update

All I’ve used this summer was your FROGs for bass. That is a huge one for me.

Keary Mattison strikes again with a 5 lb & 4 lb smallmouth on the FROG

Two years ago I caught one that was 5.44 lb. on a rock bed 6ft under the water.

This is the 2nd monster I’ve caught for smallmouths. I caught it around a drop off . I caught about 4 of them from 2 1/2 to the monster of 5lbs.

I normally get them around 2- 3 lbs. I was not expecting to get smallmouths, but I think there was a nice school of them coming in to feed. It sure was nice. They stopped it [The FROG] dead in the water. I thought for sure I was going to lose the big one, but I got him in after about 10 minutes.

I have done some other fishing too for cats. The biggest I got was in June. It was 37lbs and a carp which was 46lbs. Keary

I fish the lake Champlain waters outside of crown point in new york. I fish along the weed line about 80 to 90 feet off shore. I use the Northern Pickerel FROG you made, and it has been working great. The fish love it.

Most are around 1 1/2 to 3 lbs they are smaller up here then down there but i got lucky and landed a nice 5 lbs 11 oz monster large mouth.
