For a long time I've been wanting to make a trip to the Northeast Coast for all those stripers & bluefish by kayak. But knowing the local ropes in that area is very important for success & safety. Now everyone can have a couple of local buddies buddies. If you hire these guys for a day on the water. Kevin will even memorialize the trip with a hardcover book of photos. I hate stopping to take photos when the fish are biting. Now, you don't have to----

Skwoosh™ Utility Cushion

So, this package arrived. I was very busy at the time, and I didn’t pay much attention. Even though it was a cushion for my kayak, I was too busy to open it. I didn’t order it. It was sent as a promotional item. My wife always likes to get things in the mail and open packages. Kind of like Christmas I guess. I forgot about it, but she was using to sit at her computer. She kept saying what an improvement it was. So, finally, I said I wanted to take it out and give it a try, but she wouldn’t let me have it! When Ted Brother emailed from SKWOOSH.com to see what I thought, I told him I couldn’t get it back from my wife to try it. She didn’t want any “swamp stuff” growing on it. So, Ted ships me out another pad. By the way, make sure you get the Skwoosh™ Utility Cushion model for fishermen.

I generally do not experience much pain in my kayak because I move around a lot, change positions, and wade a lot. But often, I will spend as much as 10-12 hours in my kayak if there is not a good place to wade, and if the fishing is either very, very good or very, very bad.

No matter who you are --- or what physical condition you are in----eventually, if you sit in your kayak long enough--- you will eventually begin to experience back pain. It will creep up on you at first, but eventually, it will be noticeable enough to erode your enjoyment of the outing even if you are catching fish. That Skwoosh™ Utility Cushion will greatly increase that time that you will paddle & fish pain free. If you are more reasonable about the time you spend in your kayak per outing, you can eliminate the aspect of pain & suffering for your sport altogether. Do 14 year olds get back pain ? Or are they immune?

Insulated/Waterproof Nylon Kayak Fish & Storage Bag

In our book KAYAKFISHING: The Revolution, we stated the need for someone to develop a large insulated bag for kayak fishermen to use for cool storgage for larger fish caught from a Kayak. That someone is now Connie Mack Moran, the “ renaissance man “ of kayak fly fishing. Connie designed the bags & has them manufactured in India. Located just south of Houston, near West Galveston Bay, Connie is also an artist, taxidermist, flytier and kayak fly fisherman. You can see samples of his beautiful art, gorgeous flies (including a great looking spoonfly), artful taxidermy and find dealers for his insulated fish bag at his website---- www.creativefeathers.com.

There has been a REAL need for a long time on "WHERE TO KEEP YOUR CATCH?" while fishing from your Kayak.

Creative Feathers Studio ™ has seen the need and believes we have met the need for literally thousands of Kayakers.

The unique folded sides, has an 7" rise that creates a lot of storage space, 3675 Cubic Inches. The design is for keeping your catch fresh until you can get back to your vehicle. Keeping the fish safe from the blistering hot waters in the summer time and protected will keep those ounces on that could mean 1st place or last.

BAG CAN BE USED EITHER ON BOW OF KAYAK OR STERN

CAMPING - TOURING - FISHING - STORAGE - Keep it all DRY, and in easy

Kayakfishing guide Jeff "Rhino" Krieger is the inventor of the Rhynobar pictured to the right . He also won the big tournament out in California last year. The Rhynobar is useful as an attachment site for depthfinders, rodholders, etc. Click on the photo to visit his website.

wpe2.gif (23088 bytes)A great new book from Tom Holtey. He is a bonafide expert. Tom tells us all how to do it the right way. The safe way. New kayakers and pros alike should read this book.

The First Mate is a rodholder/paddleholder combo that holds two rods and the paddle. It can hold one rod securely in a trolling position while you paddle. There is also an add-on accessory that holds tackle boxes securely on the deck in front of you. It fits many models of sit -on-bottom kayaks, installs quickly and requires no permanent changes to the kayak. Click here for more information and pictures or go directly to their website at http://webhome.idirect.com/~aboo/
